People continued to visit Ryders Hayes Mears yesterday to pay tribute, just days after Spencer lost his life at the lake.

Among the tributes left was a small brown bear with two pink balloons, telling Spencer to 'fly high'.

Flowers have been left both in a circle near to the lake and in a long line next to a path.

As well as those paying tribute at the lake, people are also sharing their thoughts online.

Macauley Owen, a keen boxer from Telford, said: "Sad news of Spencer Hurst passing away.

"I've trained with him quite a few times over at Pleck ABC over the last season, he was a good lad, real shame. RIP Spencer."

Charlotte Mills, from Walsall, added: "I only saw you on Sunday my mate Spencer Hurst with your big cheeky smile.

"I can't get my head around it. RIP taken far to soon. My heart goes out to your family and friends at this terrible sad time."

Tributes at the scene

Ell Stanton said on Facebook: "Rest easy Spenc, took way too soon such a warm hearted lad.

"You will always be remembered as a legend and missed by so many. Thoughts go out to the family and the lads, couldn't believe my eyes when I got the message.

"So heartbreaking, it sends shivers through me but every single person that knows you and has had great memories with you will always look up at you as the greatest! Rest in peace! Such a wonderful lad."
