Crowds gathered at Victoria Park in Stafford on Shrove Tuesday as the town’s annual Pancake Races returned for 2026.
Competitors of all ages took part in the long-standing tradition, racing through the park while flipping pancakes in frying pans, cheered on by families, friends and visitors.
Blessed with dry weather and a lively atmosphere, the event once again proved popular as school children, local businesses and charities from across Stafford joined in the fun.
