'Avoid the area' - Fire crews warn as blaze tackled inside Stafford town centre vape shop
Firefighters are currently responding to a fire at a vape shop in Stafford.
The road remains closed while firefighters work to bring the incident under control at a vape shop on Gaolgate Street this afternoon (January 13).

No one has been reported injured and people are urged to stay away from the area.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We currently have multiple appliances dealing with a fire at a shop on Gaolgate Street, Stafford.

"The road is currently closed as we work to bring the incident to a safe conclusion. Nobody has been reported injured.

"We would urge people to avoid the area while we continue to respond to the incident."
The fire service has been contacted for further updates.
