It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Stafford - 48 pictures capture the magic of streets aglow with festive lights
From brightly lit houses to colourful displays, Stafford appears to be well and truly in the festive spirit.
The Christmas season in 2025 brought colour, light and festive cheer to Stafford and the surrounding areas. Homes, streets and gardens were decorated with bright lights, festive figures and traditional Christmas displays, helping to spread a warm holiday spirit throughout the community.
This collection of 48 photographs, taken by Ian Knight (Z70 Photography) shows a variety of Christmas lights and decorations from across the area.
Some displays are simple and classic, using white lights and wreaths, while others are bold and eye-catching with colourful bulbs, inflatable characters and moving features. Each display reflects the creativity and effort of the people who put them together.
Many of the decorations were enjoyed by families, friends and passers-by, with some residents making extra effort to create displays that could be appreciated by the whole community. The lights helped brighten dark winter evenings and added a festive feel to neighbourhoods across Stafford.
