Crews were called to the scene in the village, near Stafford at around 3.30pm on Saturday and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service sent five appliances and were there until the early hours of Sunday morning. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.

This morning a spokesperson from the service confirmed the fire was out but crews would make re-visits today to make sure the area was safe, with traffic restrictions now lifted.
