A van driver was arrested in Stafford after blowing 94 on a breathalyser test - but not before doing some damage to their vehicle.

The vehicle was halted after concerned members of the public alerted Staffordshire Police to a vehicle moving 'all over the M6 Northbound.'

Police confirmed they arrested a 'heavily intoxicated' driver after they blew 94 on a breathalyser test.

The legal drink-drive limit in the UK for breathalyzers is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath - making this driver almost three times the limit!

In a post on X, StaffsRCT shared an image of the damage the driver had done to their vehicle before the arrest.

Captioning the image, police wrote: "Concerned members of the public called regarding this van, all over the M6 NB @PoliceStafford

"We stopped it to find a heavily intoxicated driver. #Arrested. At custody they blew 94!!

"This being the 3rd drink driver we've arrested this evening."
