Residents are being asked to air their views on the plans to move Codsall Post Office, in Station Road, Codsall, from the Midcounties Co-operative Food shop to a bigger Co-op food market in nearby Wood Road.

The franchise operators want to relocate the Post Office service as part of the management of their business enterprises.

The Post Office stated: "Our partner operates Post Office branches alongside their private retail business. It is important that they make the very best use of their resources to ensure future sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service.

"Our partner has identified an opportunity to move this branch into an alternative new location to continue to offer Post Office services. There would be three screened serving positions.

"The same products and services would be available and the opening hours would remain."

The branch operates Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.

Customers can participate in the consultation over the idea online at postofficeviews.co.uk quoting the branch code 167246. Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to 'Freepost YOUR COMMENTS', by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or textphone 03457 22 3355.

The deadline is January 30, 2026.
