Police appeal for information after woman in 20s dies in car crash in Staffordshire

Staffordshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Essington.

Officers were called just before 1am on Sunday (October 26) to reports of a collision involving a white Seat Ibiza and a grey Seat Ibiza on Blackhalve Lane in Essington, South Staffordshire.

The driver of the white car, a woman in her 20s, died at the scene.

The police attended to the crash in Shifnal last night, where an 18-year-old man was killed and three teenagers suffered serious injuries.

Her family are being supported by specialist officers from the Staffordshire Police force. 

A number of other occupants from the vehicles were taken to hospital.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or those with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage which could help collision investigators.
