Perton hairdresser, Wendy Wedge, 64, has been saying goodbye to her beloved regulars after more than four decades of work.

Wendy, who started at Image Hair Studio, on Codsall Road, Wolverhampton in 1978, has been saying teary goodbyes as she remembers her best moments of cutting the communities hair.

Wendy said: "I really shall miss it, It's been absolutely lovely and I truly have enjoyed every last minute of it. I have had some lovely customers who I shall always miss.

"It's really all becoming real now. Out of all of my time there, I will really miss the customers, I have done some of the regulars hairs for such a long time now, they are really more friends than customers."
