Rugeley drug dealer jailed after admitting to police he had been selling cocaine for two weeks
A man has been jailed for more than two years after admitting to supplying cocaine in Rugeley.
Marius Gheorghe, 23, of no fixed address, was sentenced to two years and four months behind bars after admitting to the supply of drugs at Staffordshire Crown Court.
On Wednesday, July 23, Gheorghe was driving a black Golf in Etchinghill when he was stopped by officers from Staffordshire Police.

Officers searched the car and found approximately £610 worth of cocaine in the centre console as well as £210 in cash.
A property in the area was also searched, where officers found a further £990 in cash.
When Gheorghe was interviewed in custody, he admitted that he had been selling cocaine in the Rugeley area for around two weeks.
He was handed the jail sentence after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, as well as using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third-party insurance.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We’re acting robustly every single day in Staffordshire to target those committing high-harm offences in our communities, including drug dealing, criminal exploitation, weapon offences and more.
"To report drug dealing in your area, call us on 101 or use Live Chat on our website. If you want to stay anonymous, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Tell them what you know, not who you are."
