'Avoid the area': 20 firefighters tackling blaze in Staffordshire village
A fire in a village in Staffordshire is being tackled by around 20 fire fighters this evening (Saturday, December 13)
Around 20 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a property in Wheaton Aston near Penkridge.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was currently ongoing and crews arrived at the scene shortly after 3.25pm.
On Saturday (13) the service posted on X: "We currently have five fire appliances at a fire in Wheaton Aston, in Staffordshire.
"Please avoid the area to allow our crews to deal with the incident."
