A further four apartments are proposed to be built at the Station Road site, which closed in December 2022.

If the plans are approved there would be 20 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom properties in total, with five proposed to be affordable housing.

A link constructed in the 1970s to connect the church and Sunday school buildings is set to be demolished as part of the conversion work.

The church was built in 1873. During the First World War the schoolroom was used to support troops based at the nearby Cannock Chase camps.
