Marks & Spencer opens expanded Cannock food store with space galore in former Homebase - take a look around
Marks & Spencer has opened a new 18,000 square foot store at Cannock's Orbital Retail Park - just in time for the festive season.
The relocated store is situated in a former Homebase store and is triple the size of M&S's previous food store, just yards away at Unit 4, which closed on Tuesday evening (December 2).
Creating 50 jobs, the relocated store is the first of 12 former Homebase sites M&S is investing in.

It features a bakery, coffee counter, hot chicken counter, and sushi counter and customers can now shop the entire M&S Food range from its renewed store format.

The coffee counter will offer a range of barista-made hot and iced drinks, including spiced turmeric lattes.
Elsewhere M&S’s popular hot chicken counter is serving up British rotisserie chicken in butter-basted and BBQ flavours.

The ribbon was cut on the new store just before 8am on Wednesday by long-serving store colleagues and in-store bakers Trish and Sarah, celebrating 40 and 39 years with M&S respectively.
Store manager and Staffordshire local Mat Stephenson said of the opening: "It’s been amazing to showcase the new store to our customers this morning and the festive cheer has been fantastic.
"Now triple the size of our previous store, we can truly offer the very best of M&S Food, with the unbeatable quality we’re known for.
"A massive thank you to my team for all their work getting everything ready and to our customers, we are so excited to help deliver some M&S magic this Christmas and beyond "
M&S Orbital is located at Unit 1 Voyager Drive, Orbital Retail Centre, Cannock.
Opening hours are between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays.
Customers can check opening times over the Christmas period via the M&S app or website.
