'It's thanks to all our lovely customers': Cannock crystal and mindfulness shop celebrates a decade of community, ethically sourced goods, treatments and workshops
Cannock-based crystal and mindfulness shop Heavenly Treasures has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
The shop in Avon Road, Cannock, has become a hub for crystal enthusiasts, people interested in the metaphysical and alternative healing and those looking for a relaxing space to sit and read or write a journal.
Owner Michelle Williams is proud of what she has built up over the past decade, especially in the current economic climate and following the Covid lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.
She said: “We wouldn't be celebrating if it wasn't for all our lovely customers.”
Originally from South Wales, Michelle, who has lived in Cannock for 20 years, told how the shop has evolved since she first started out on her business journey a decade ago.
The hard-working single mum to nine children started the venture while working as a night carer, juggling her crystal business with her regular job working night shifts.

She said: “When I first started the shop I was bit afraid to take that plunge straight off so I used to work three nights a week at my night job and five days a week at the shop.
“I always wanted to break the mould because single parents with lots of kids - we’re always put into a category of being a certain way, being shy of work so I always wanted to break that mould and also teach my kids that you work hard and reap rewards and you get respect.”
