Specialist care given to unwell woman found near Cannock town centre
Emergency crews were called out to help a woman following concerns for her welfare.
Cannock Police and ambulance crews were called to Park Road near the town centre yesterday (July 27) after reports of an individual needing help.
Police said: "We were called by the police following concerns for the welfare of a woman, in Park Road, Cannock at 5.55am today.
"One ambulance attended and a woman was assessed and treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further specialist care."
Residents in the area reported that the nearby park was cordoned off with police and ambulance activity at about 7.30am.
