'We're delighted to open the doors on our new stores': Queues gather for the grand opening of the new Burntwood Lidl store
Queues of eager supermarket shoppers celebrated the grand opening of the Lidl Burntwood store this morning and there were some great deals in the middle aisle
Shoppers waited patiently to get a first look inside the latest Lidl store to open in the West Midlands.
The new store, on Cannock Road, Burntwood, opened at 8am this morning, offering a range of 'ribbon-cutting deals' for all those who attend on the first day of opening.

A video, taken by the Express & Star, shows shoppers patiently waiting at the doors to enter the new store, with dozens more shoppers being seen already inside.
The store was opened in a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was joined by students of Chase Terrace Primary School.

Attending shoppers on the opening day can expect complimentary food sampling, as well as a chance to win some special prizes.
The opening has brought around 40 jobs to the area, and will feature the iconic 'Middle of Lidl' aisle.

The new store is open from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
