Emergency services attend multiple vehicle crash on the M6 in Staffordshire
Two lanes are closed on the M6 northbound in Staffordshire after a road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles.
National Highways West Midlands posted on X shortly after 11am warning followers to 'expect delays in excess of an hour' on the motorway heading northbound, with around five miles of congestion built up.
The incident happened near junction 14 at Stafford and junction 15 at Stoke on Trent, and traffic is being held within those junctions too.
All emergency services are en route.
Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Midlands Fire Service have all been approached for comment.
