Traffic faced disruption after 'police incident' on M6 Toll road in Staffordshire
Drivers were warned to 'expect delays' on the M6 Toll road after a 'police incident' between two Staffordshire junctions.

Traffic was halted in both directions on the M6 Toll in the West Midlands between T5, near Lichfield, and T7, near Churchbridge, due to a police incident.
A post on X from National Highways said: "This is due to an ongoing West Midlands Police incident at T6.
"National Highways traffic officers are assisting with traffic management. Expect delays."
As of 3.35pm, traffic was on the move again.
Police have been contacted for a comment.
