M6 slip road at busy junction closed after vehicle fire - 'minor disruption' expected
Motorists are being warned this afternoon to expect delays after a vehicle fire closed an M6 slip road.

West Midlands Roads is warning motorists a vehicle fire has blocked the southbound exit slip road at the M6 Junction 9 (for the A461, between Walsall and Wednesbury) this afternoon (Tuesday, March 24).
The AA said traffic was held at around 1.30pm and released at 1.50pm, but the exit slip road has been closed to allow for recovery of the vehicle.
West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service have been approached for further information.
Anyone intending to use the roads in the area is advised to plan ahead.
