'This shop represents a fantastic opportunity for the local community to support us' - Midlands Air Ambulance Charity opens new store in Tipton Shopping Centre
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has opened a new shop in the heart of the Black Country.
The charity officially opened the store in Tipton on Thursday morning (October 9), saying it "represents a fantastic opportunity for the local community to support them".
Staff and crew from the charity attended the grand opening and fielded questions about the work of the charity and the important role the shops play in raising vital funds to make lifesaving missions possible across the heart of England.

The new shop, based in the Tipton Centre shopping complex, will feature a diverse selection of pre-loved items, including clothing, accessories, homeware, toys, and more. It is also accepting donations of quality second-hand goods to help stock the shop and support its lifesaving missions.
Regular opening hours for Tipton's Midlands Air Ambulance Charity shop will be Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
Fletcher Smith, regional area manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We are excited to have officially open our latest shop right in the heart of Tipton.
"This shop represents a fantastic opportunity for the local community to support us, whether by donating pre-loved items, volunteering, or simply popping in to browse and shop.”

Alison Hill, volunteer manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity added: “Our volunteers are integral to ensuring the success of our shops and events, and in turn, the success of our missions.
"We welcome everyone to come and find out how they can contribute their time and skills to make a positive impact.
"Volunteers can support in various ways, including sorting donations of clothing, furniture and other items, assisting with sales, and providing excellent customer service or helping at the charity’s fundraising events throughout the year.”
