Smethwick shooting: Three arrested after man shot in leg on main road - LIVE updates
A man was treated for 'serious injuries' at the scene of an 'incident' in Smethwick this morning (March 11).
Paramedics say they arrives at the scene on Bearwood Road, Smethwick at around 1.32am and found a man with serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene by two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic before being transported to hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an incident on Bearwood Road in Smethwick at 1.32am and sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found a man who they treated for serious injuries before conveying him under emergency driving conditions to hospital."
