Smethwick buses return to normal route following diversions due to 'incident'
A bus route in Smethwick is faced disruption this afternoon (November 22) following an 'incident.'
National Express West Midlands have confirmed its 80 bus service were diverted following a 'damage only collision' on Windmill Lane, Smethwick.
In a post on X, a spokesperson said: "Service 80 will be diverting in both directions via: Messenger Road Windmill Lane Grove Lane Cape Hill Shireland Road.
"Apologies for any disruption to your journey."
The route has since returned to normal.
West Midlands Police confirmed the collision was damage only.
