Driver reported after lorry shed load on busy Oldbury island in front of traffic cops
A lorry driver is facing prosecution after the lorry he was driving shed its load at Oldbury's Birchley Island in view of traffic police.
The red DAF heavy goods vehicle was negotiating the five-arm roundabout near the M5 at junction two in Oldbury when the incident was spotted by West Midlands Police traffic patrol officers at about midnight last night (Wednesday).

The vehicle was carrying items including long metal and plastic goods.
West Midlands Police Traffic posted on X: "D-Unit ANPR Intercceptors were dealing with an uninsured vehicle, when they saw this HGV shed its load on Birchley Island.

"Luckily nobody was hurt and after considerable inconvenience to members of the public the load was secured.
