The GoFundMe page was launched by Lily Whitehouse's aunt Cleo Eden following the 19-year-old's death after being found with serious injuries on Park Street on November 5.

Ms Eden said her niece was full of light, laughter and kindness and said the fundraiser was about getting justice for Lily and also starting a trust for her baby for when she's older.

The fundraiser, which was started on November 10, is looking to raise £2,000 by November 16 and has already raised £1,110 to date.

The message by Ms Eden read: "On Wednesday, November 5, our beautiful Lily Whitehouse was tragically taken from us at just 19 years old.

"Lily was full of light, laughter, and kindness. She had so many dreams ahead of her, and our hearts are shattered knowing her life was cruelly taken by another person.

"As we face this unbearable loss, we are also working toward getting justice for Lily, ensuring her memory is honoured with dignity and love.

"We are creating this fundraiser to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, giving Lily the farewell she deserves.

"Any funds remaining after these costs will be placed into a trust fund for her baby, to support her when she is older and ensure Lily’s love continues to guide and care for her child in the years to come.

"Your kindness, support, and generosity mean more than words can express. In this devastating time, every message, prayer, and donation helps us carry on as we fight for justice and honour Lily’s beautiful memory.

"Thank you for standing with us during this heart-breaking chapter. With love and gratitude, Cleo (Lily’s aunt)."

Mohammed Azim, aged 41, is charged with the murder of Ms Whitehouse and has been ordered to  attend Wolverhampton Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Tuesday, December 16.
