Man, 41, arrested after 19-year-old woman found dead in Oldbury
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Oldbury.
West Midlands Police was called just before 9.50pm on Wednesday (November 5) to Park Street in Oldbury where a 19-year-old woman was found with serious injuries.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, there was nothing that could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 41-year-old man, who is believed to be known to the woman, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
A scene remains in place while police carry out enquiries to establish exactly what happened.
