Man, 18, charged after firearm, ammunition and drugs recovered in Oldbury
An 18-year-old man has been charged after officers recovered a firearm, ammunition and drugs in Oldbury.
Omari Thomas, aged 18, from Rowley Regis, has been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession with intent to supply drugs, acquiring criminal property and racially aggravated assault.
The arrest comes after officers from West Midlands Police recovered a firearm, cash and class A drugs, with the assistance of PD Snow, one of the force's loyal police dogs, on Broadwell Road, on Tuesday (July 29).
Thomas was remanded into custody appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
