Crash on M6 near Great Barr causes delays
Delays of up to 45 minutes were reported following a crash on the M6 near Birmingham.
National Highways West Midlands warned of heavy delays to regular travel following a crash on the M6 Southbound, near Birmingham and Great Barr.
The crash was reported to have taken place between Junction 7 (Great Barr) and Junction 6 (A38M Birmingham) at around 9.30am this morning, and forced traffic to be halted.

A National Highways West Midlands spokesperson said at the time of the crash: "Traffic has stopped on the M6 southbound in the West Midlands between junction 7 and Junction 6, due to a collision.
"Emergency services and our traffic officers are on the scene.
"There are three miles of congestion on approach."
The incident between Junction 7 and Junction 6 has since cleared, with National Highways West Midlands saying that no delays remain in the area.
A highways spokesperson said: "This incident is now clear, and all lanes have re-opened on the M6 Southbound, between Junction 7 and Junction 6.
"There are no delays in the area. Thanks for your patience."
The crash wasn't the only incident to affect the M6 this morning, as road users were also warned of delays on the motorway between Junction 4 and Junction 4a.

A highways spokesperson said: "One lane of four is closed on the M6 Northbound in the West Midlands between Junction 4a (m42) and Junction 5 (Castle Bromwich) due to a collision.
"Emergency services and our traffic officers are on the scene. There's a 30-minute delay and 3.5 miles of congestion."
That incident has since cleared, with traffic flowing 'as normal'.
A roads spokesperson said: "The earlier disruption has now been cleared.
"Traffic is flowing as normally in the area."
