Great Barr residents warned of disruption to water supply due to maintenance works
Great Barr residents have been warned they could face disruption to their water supply as maintenance works are required in the area.
South Staffordshire Water have sent text messages to residents around the B43 6EN area warning that they may notice some disruption to their supplies tomorrow (December 2).
The text message reads: "Hi, It's South Staffs Water here. We have recently identified an issue at Whitecrest, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 6EN where we need to carry out maintenance works.
"You may experience interruption to your supply on 02.12.2025, whilst we complete these works.
"Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused."

According to the South Staffordshire Water incident map they are "investigating a supply issue in this area" and "aim to complete this within three working days."
A spokesperson for South Staffordshire Water said: "South Staffs Water will be carrying out a repair to a burst main in the Whitecrest area of Great Barr on Tuesday 2 December.
"The work will begin at 8am, and all steps will be taken to minimise any interruption to supply while the repair is being carried out. We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers."
