Firefighters battle late night Black Country blaze - motorists and residents told to 'avoid the area'
Motorists and residents are being asked to avoid the area
Emergency crews were called to a fire on Station Road in Old Hill, Cradley Heath on Friday night.
As of 11:40pm, six crews from West Midlands Fire Service remain at the scene tackling the blaze. The service confirmed the response in a post on social media shortly before midnight.
Firefighters were sent to the incident earlier in the evening, though details about the cause of the fire and whether anyone has been injured have not yet been confirmed.
Motorists and residents are being asked to avoid the area around Station Road while emergency services deal with the incident.
West Midlands Fire Service said crews are continuing to work at the scene and further updates are expected once more information becomes available.
