Sandwell car thieves arrested after early morning police response
Two men have been arrested and a stolen car has been recovered by police in Sandwell.

West Midlands Police responded to reports of a vehicle being taken in Smethwick at just before 4.20am on Wednesday, January 28.
Officers were quickly in the area and located the car in Cheshire Road where two men were then detained.

The men, aged 31 and 40, have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and are now in custody for questioning.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "We know the impact of vehicle crime on daily lives, and livelihoods, and we’ll continue seeking to identify, and arrest, anyone suspected of being involved in such crimes."
