Officers carry out week of action in Sandwell
Sandwell police have discovered a cannabis farm as part of a week of action across the borough
They also spoke to students about knife crime and executed a warrant at a shop in Blackheath.
Oldbury Neighbourhood Team executed the warrant on a property in Moat Road under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Inside the premises, they found an extensive cannabis farm with plants and equipment spread across several rooms. A large number of plants - over 100 - were seized and two men in their 30s were arrested. An investigation is currently ongoing.

They visited Soho and Victoria residents, hosted a police surgery at Oldbury Library so people could share any concerns and gave input at Causeway Green Primary, St James' Primary and Lion Farm Action Centre.

They also spoke to students at Springfield Primary School and Reddal Hill Primary and Nursery School about knife crime and held a walkabout in Cape Hill with councillors as part of work to tackle anti-social behaviour, rough sleepers and abandoned vehicles.
Rowley Neighbourhood Team, along with Sandwell Council Trading Standards, raided a shop in Blackheath which was selling counterfeit toys and held a speed watch in hotspot area.
They were also present in the Great Bridge area, where anti-social behaviour patrols were conducted in the retail park and carried out a weapon sweep in Jubilee Park.
