Charges for shop theft in Sandwell as police aim to tackle rise in retail crime
West Midlands Police have secured more charges for shop theft following more to tackle retail crime across Sandwell.
Officers responded to a report of theft from a business in Rowley Regis on Monday, October 6 morning. A 39-year-old man was detained a short while later.
Joshua Findlater has since been charged with three counts of shop theft and was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 7.

Police were also called following attempts to steal items from a store in Tipton in the afternoon.
A 41-year-old man was arrested and Sunail Kainth, from Smethwick, has now also been charged with two counts of shop theft.
He was remanded to appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton on October 7.
West Midlands Police say they are catching hundreds more suspected shop thieves in the West Midlands as part of an on going drive to combat retail crime.
Arrests for shop theft offences have risen over 60 per cent in the last two years after police changed the way they respond to crime reports.
Sandwell South has it's own dedicated retail crime team that identify prolific offenders and bring them to justice.
