Seven dangerous vehicles off the road as 28 traffic offences identified in Sandwell Council and police operation
Sandwell Council and Sandwell Police teamed up for a targeted traffic operation in the borough.
As part of Sandwell Police's Operation Advance, seven dangerous vehicles were taken off the roads and 38 more were pulled over.
A total of 28 traffic offences were identified, including 12 vehicles with illegally tinted windows, eight vehicles with illegal number plates, one vehicle with dangerous tyres, one vehicle with no MOT, four vehicles where the drivers had no licence, seven vehicles with no insurance, four vehicles that were dangerously overloaded, and one vehicle with a broken indicator.

Three people were arrested: two for suspected immigration offences and one on suspicion of burglary.
The targeted operation formed part of Operation Advance which saw 24 hours of multi-agency law enforcement activity, in addition to Sandwell Council's day-to-day activity.
