Heavy traffic still causing delays in Stourbridge following vehicle fire

Traffic congestion continued in Stourbridge on Thursday, February 26 after a vehicle fire earlier in the week.

Motorists using the A449 near the Manor House of Whittington pub near Stourbridge faced slow-moving traffic throughout the day as repairs and roadworks related to the blaze remained in place. 

The vehicle fire occurred on Sunday afternoon (February 22) when emergency services were called to a car that had caught fire on the carriageway. No injuries were reported, but the blaze completely destroyed the vehicle.
