Popular pizza restaurant to open new outlet in former coffee shop premises in Stourbridge
A former coffee shop in Stourbridge town centre is to be turned into an independent pizza restaurant.
Hexagon Commercial Property company, based in Stourbridge, has confirmed a lease has been agreed with Cofton Pizza to take over the former Cup premises in Coventry Street, following strong interest from potential occupiers.
The new letting will see established independent business Cofton Pizza, which runs a successful wood-fired pizza, brunch and coffee outlet in Barnt Green known as Cofton on the Green, bring its well-regarded food offering to Stourbridge.

Hannah Khoury of Hexagon Commercial Property, who handled the letting, said: “We were delighted with the level of interest the property generated and are pleased to have secured a tenant with a strong track record. Cofton Pizza is an excellent fit for the premises (and town!) and we look forward to seeing their Stourbridge operation thrive.”
The property attracted significant attention from a range of interested parties, highlighting continued demand for well-located commercial premises within Stourbridge, Hexagon said.
A spokesperson for Cofton Pizza said: "Stourbridge has a fantastic food scene, and we’re thrilled to join it with Cofton at the Bridge. We’re taking everything that worked at our Barnt Green shop - the quality, the dough, the community feel - and adding extras like live DJs and a bespoke cocktail menu.
“From our famous folded flatbread full English brunch alongside a proper silky coffee to all day Neapolitan pizza, and craft beer, we cannot wait to welcome everyone to our new home."
