Dudley Magistrates Court heard this week that the pet was removed from defendant Daniel Colin McCaffrey, of The Broadway, Stourbridge, in June 2025. The matter was heard in his absence after Mr McCaffrey, aged 36, failed to arrive for the hearing.

The application for possession was made by the RSPCA under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 in relation to a dog called Lulu so that treatment could be administered.
