Murder mystery wows the audience at Wollaston venue
A Stourbridge based theatre group will wrap up their latest performance at Wollaston Village Hall tonight (Saturday) after a triumphant opening evening.
Action Community Theatre Group are putting on two performances of Murder at Two Down, a three act play written by member Anthony Harris which reviews have called 'Agatha Christie like but with a modern take.
Anthony Harris himself plays the father of a dysfunctional family who hires a private detective to investigate the death of his wife, with the prime suspects being any one of his four children.
He also fears they are coming for him next and those fears are realised in the first act when he is shot dead, with a policeman then coming in to question each of the children one by one and the private detective who also becomes a suspect.
The play is well acted and keeps the audience guessing right until the end and there are plenty of light moments amidst the dark theme, meaning it is suitable for all ages.

The second showing of the play takes place tonight (Saturday) at 7.30pm, again at Wollaston Village Hall with tickets available here or on the door at £10.
