Ambulance seen in centre of Stourbridge as crews called to reports of medical incident

An ambulance was seen outside a Stourbridge shopping centre early this morning as crews were called to a medical incident.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance had been called to the Crown Centre in Stourbridge town centre at 9.53am and had found a woman at the scene.

However, a spokesperson for the service confirmed that the woman had not wished to go to hospital and had been discharged at the scene after being given self-care advice.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical incident near The Crown Centre in Stourbridge at 9.53am and sent an ambulance to the scene.

"On arrival, crews found a woman who was assessed but did not wish to go to hospital so was given self-care advice and discharged at the scene."
