One of the Black Country's best-loved pubs is looking to turn old cold store into garden room
A new garden room could be created at one of the Black Country's best-loved historic pubs.
The Beacon Hotel, in Bilston Street, Sedgley, has applied for permission to convert a redundant outbuilding at the rear of the pub into a garden room.

The sagging roof would be removed, and the walls would raised in height, with a new roof constructed from reclaimed slates, with a Velux roof window.
A crittle style bullseye window would installed within gable end painted black.
The pub, home to the award-winning Sarah Hughes Brewery, was judged to be one of the four best pubs in the UK by the Campaign for Real Ale in 2011.
