Footage captures huge flames erupting over the skies of Kingswinford this morning as 100 tonnes of scrap was caught up in a blaze at a yard on Oak Lane.

Firefighters were alerted at 7am. West Midlands Fire Service crews said no one is reported to have been hurt. And local residents were urged to keep their windows and doors closed as a precaution.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage. Site staff at the scene helped fire crewus to move metal and create a fire break.
