14 pictures capture devastation of Kingswinford scrapyard fire as emergency crews work hard to tackle blaze

Several fire crews are battling a blaze at a scrapyard in Kingswinford involving 100 tonnes of scrap material and domestic appliances

West Midlands Fire Service has warned residents near Oak Lane, Kingswinford, to "keep windows and doors closed" while they deal with a fire in the area.

The fire service has reported that seven vehicles were sent in response to the incident at around 7.40am on Thursday (January 29) and has warned people to "avoid the area" where possible.
