Drivers warned of two weeks of roadworks on main route in Kingswinford
Drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes ahead of the closure of a main road in Kingswinford for carriageway resurfacing work.
Stream Road in Kingswinford will be shut on week days from November 20 to Friday, December 5 from the junction of Bromley Lane to the junction of Ashdown Drive with a councillor advising motorists to use alternative roads while the long-awaited project is being carried out.
The daytime closure will also affect the junctions leading to Lesley Drive, Auckland Road, Beaubrook Gardens, and Hollyhurst Drive.

Traffic will be directed by marshals while the restrictions are in place with carriageway resurfacing to be carried out safely from 9.30am-3pm on week days only.
Dudley Council said no diversion route will be required on this occasion.
Access will be given to those heading to property fronts as long as it is safe to do so and access to emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Wordsley North ward representative Councillor Kerry Lewis posted on Facebook group I'm From Wordsley: "This will cause some delays and inconvenience. I would advise finding an alternative route. It's been a long time coming and the work is definitely needed."
