I visited a Black Country town where people are proud to live and where strangers become friends
Kingswinford is a thriving and bustling town which may sometimes be overlooked by its bigger neighbours Stourbridge and Dudley - but don't tell that to people who live there.
They are proud to be from Kingswinford, a town that has produced county cricketers, actresses, TV and film directors and even a rock star in Rob Jones, original bassist of The Wonder Stuff.
Engin Caglar isn't someone who is a native to the Black Country or Kingswinford - he hails from Turkey - but he has lived in the town for four and a half years since relocating from Essex.
He runs the popular Village Cafe in Townsend Place which was doing a roaring trade inside and out when we visited. Engin said: "I am originally from Turkey and have worked in the south of the UK running businesses in South London and Essex.
"I find the people here are very relaxed and friendly, possibly more so than in London where people don't seem to have as much time.

"Certainly the customers here like to talk to the staff and pass the time of day especially on a day like this where the sun is out and they can sit outside.
"We try to vary the menu: we do the full English breakfasts but also other meals as the day goes on, and business is good though the economic times are not easy. We get a lot of visitors from outside Kingswinford who come here to do their shopping and pop in. Everybody is welcomed and quite a few come from outside Kingswinford."
