Black Country Ales to reopen 200-year-old Cradley pub, a year after it closed
A 200-year-old Black Country pub is set to reopen, a year after it closed due to falling customer numbers.
Black Country Ales has acquired the Why Not Inn in Cradley, which closed in October last year.
The pub in Why Not Street, Colley Gate, had been run since 2022 by husband and wife Atilla and Lisa Vincze.
But Mr Vincze told the Express & Star that falling trade and rising taxes had made it impossible to turn a profit.
