Two taken to hospital after three-vehicle crash at road junction near Dudley
Two people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Dudley.
Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Himley Road and High Arcal Road in Gornalwood at around 3pm yesterday (March 23), with a significant emergency response sent to the scene.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an RTC [road traffic collision] involving two vehicles at the junction of Himley Road and High Arcal Road in Gornalwood, Dudley at 3.11pm, yesterday, and sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found two patients who they assessed before conveying them to Russells Hall Hospital.”
Staffordshire Police has confirmed three vehicles were involved in the collision.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.20pm yesterday to Himley Road at the junction of High Arcal Road in Himley, Dudley, following reports of a collision.
“A white Vauxhall Combo van, a black Alfa Romeo coupe, and a silver Vauxhall Corsa were involved.
“Two people, from the Corsa, were taken to hospital by ambulance.
“Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“The vehicles were recovered from the scene by 6.30pm.
“Our inquiries are continuing.
“Anyone with information, relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage should call us on 101 quoting incident number 531 of March 23.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours as emergency services responded, before reopening later in the evening.
