Dozens of cannabis plants and machete recovered from address in Dudley

Dozens of cannabis plants and a machete have been recovered after a warrant was executed at an address in Brierley Hill.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Brierley Hill neighbourhood officers, along with Dudley Proactive Crime Team, an Operational Support Unit, Dog Unit and a Drones Unit raided a property on William Street.

Inside, across three rooms police found around 70 cannabis plants and growing equipment.

Officers also recovered a machete and shotgun cartridges which were seized for forensic examination. The cannabis plants is waiting to be destroyed.

No one was present in the address, but police say enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.
