Muhammad Ali, of Hill Road, Lye, has already obtained a licence to turn the house in New Street, Netherton, into a house of multiple occupation.

He now requires a certificate of lawful entitlement from planners for the development to go ahead.

Plans show there will be two bedrooms on each floor of the two-storey property, with a communal kitchen on the ground floor, and shared bathrooms on the ground floor and first floor. There will be a shower room on the second floor.

The application also shows that the required lighting, electrical and fire alarm certificates had been obtained.

The application will now be considered by Dudley Council planners.
