'It's an utter disgrace' - former MP blasts Dudley Council over fly-tipping in town
'Mountains of waste' dumped on the edge of a town centre have been condemned as an 'utter disgrace' by a former MP.

Marco Longhi said he was shocked by the amount of fly-tipping at Angel Street on the edge of Dudley town centre, after being contacted by a nearby dental practice.
Mr Longhi, who was MP for Dudley North before last year's General Election, accused the council of negligence for failing to deal with the mess.

"I was confronted with mountains of dumped rubbish - including plastic waste, cardboard, wood, and discarded household items — scattered across public spaces and encroaching on surrounding greenery," he said.
Mr Longhi said he was concerned about the risk to public health.
"Angel Street and nearby roads have been allowed to fall into disgrace," he said. "Residents deserve better than this.
"There’s a serious risk to public health, with rat infestations highly likely, and it’s damaging local businesses and the wider community.“:
