Overnight roadworks are scheduled to take place on the M6 southbound section between Junction 10 (Walsall/A454) and Junction 7 (Great Barr/A34) which runs between Wolverhampton/Walsall and Birmingham.

In a social media post, West Midlands Roads shared that the roadworks will take place for bridge joint work.

The overnight closures are scheduled to take place, 23 March - 27 March between 9pm - 6am.
National Highways traffic information also informed travellers: "Expect disruption everyday between 21:00 and 06:00 from 23 March 2026 to 28 March 2026".
Motorists are being urged to divert their route around Walsall's A454, A4148, A34.
