Help wanted from public after man is robbed in Birmingham

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked and had jewellery stolen close to Birmingham city centre.

Officers were called to reports of a robbery near Islington Row, near Five Ways, just before 6.15pm on Monday (December 8).

A man in his 20s was attacked by two people who then stole his jewellery.

The man suffered a stab wound to his arm and was taken to hospital to be assessed where his injuries were found to be non-life-threatening.
